A really simple infinity scarf pattern that lets the colors, and break up of colors, be the main feature.

Infinity scarves are a total weakness of mine. Both wearing and making them.
I am a total mess when it comes to wearing open ended scarves.  I always seem to have one end hanging too low or dragging on the ground, and I have to admit I’ve got the end closed in doors on more than one occasion.
Infinity scarves can be worn multiple ways and are so nice to just slip on and off.
Knitting in the round is always a favorite of mine so infinity scarves are right up my alley.

The Elodie is really simple pattern that lets the colors and break up of colors be the main feature.
You can use any variegated or tonal yarn with a contrasting color.  Dk or light worsted weight will work best.

Simplicity and Simplicity Spray by Hikoo are an amazing pair of yarns that are designed to compliment each other. I am a huge fan of companies creating coordinating yarn. It takes out a lot of the frustration of matching colors, weights and fibers. Both yarns have such a great feel that made it so fun to work with.  There are so many different colors to mix and match.

The Elodie Infinity Scarf

Color A is the Main Sections (Simplicity Spray)
Color B is the accents (Simplicity)

With color B cast on 274 and join in the round

If you are looking for a seamless way to join in the round check out this post here where I show my favorite method.

Rounds 1- 6: With color B,  Purl to end of round
Rounds 7- 26: Switch to color A, Knit to end of round
Rounds 27 & 28: Switch to color B,  Purl to end of round
Rounds 29 – 48: Switch to color A, Knit to end of round
Rounds 49 & 50: Switch to color B, Purl to end of round
Rounds 51 – 70: Switch to color A,  Knit to end of round
Rounds 71 – 76: Switch to color B,  Purl to end of round
Round 77:  Bind off
Sew in all ends

To help keep the ends from flipping up I suggest a slight blocking by using an iron on a damp towel around the edges. ❤
